Serves: 6    /    Prep time: 30 minutes   /    Chill time: 2 hours




600ml full cream milk

1 tin of condensed milk

1 can nestle cream

600ml whipping cream

3 egg yolks

1 tbsp. vanilla essence

3 tbsp. corn flour

To assemble:

2 packets chips more cookies

1/2 cup milk powder


1_ Into a sauce pan add all the cream ingredients and cook stirring constantly until cream gets thick enough to coat back of a spoon. Set aside to cool little bit.

2_ In a dry sauce pan add powder milk and roast stirring constantly until golden brown. Set aside to cool.

To assemble:

3_ In to a class tray cover bottom with chips more cookies, cover cookies with half of the cooked cream. Lay another layer of chips more and cover with rest of cream. Chill 2 hours.

4_ Cover the chilled trifle with roasted milk powder and serve.
