Ingredients:
500 grams Boneless Chicken (cut into thin strips)
Coriander leaves or Spring Onion for garnishing (finely chopped)
Oil for deep frying
For Marinating:
3 tsp. Dark Soya Sauce
11/2 tbs. Red Chilly powder –
1 Egg
½ cup All Purpose Flour
1 tbs. Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. chicken stock
For Sauce:
4 tbs. Oil
5 Dry Red Chilly
4 tbs. cashew nuts (chopped)
1 large Onion sliced thinly
1 Bell Peppers sliced thinly
1 tbs. Ginger Garlic Paste
2 tbs. Red Chilly paste ( chilly powder + enough water to make paste)
2 tbs. Dark Soya sauce
1/2 cup Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp. chicken stock
Salt to taste
2 tsp. Sugar
Method:
1_Take chicken in a bowl and add all the marinating ingredients. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
2_Now heat some oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is hot drop the chicken in oil and fry till golden brown, when fried drain and set aside.
3_Heat oil in a skillet, Add in dry red chilly and cashew nuts and fry till cashew nuts turns light golden, add in onions and bell peppers and toss well in the oil.
4_ Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min, add in red chilly paste, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, salt, sugar and mix well.
5_Now add in the fried chicken and toss well in the sauce. Mix well. Serve hot.
