Makes 8 – 10 wontons / Prep time: 15 minutes / Making time: 20 minutes / Frying time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
For chicken filling
200 grams boneless chicken
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp. lonumirus curry powder
2 Tbsp. roasted curry powder
2 tbs. dry chilly flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbs. oyster sauce
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
To make Wontons
300 grams roshi dough or Spring roll sheets each sheet divided into 4
Water
Oil for frying ( if frying )
Method:
1_ Mince the chicken meat. Into this add all chicken filling ingredients and mix.
2_ Roll roshi dough as thin as you can and cut 4 inch x 4 inch square sheets, fill each sheet with a table spoon of chicken filling apply water on 2 sides at the edge of the sheet. Bring the opposite corner covering the filling and paste on the water applied side so that it will form likes a triangle.
3_ Bring side two corners upwards and join the ends to form a wonton. Like this make wontons until all filling is finished.
4_ Heat oil and fry wontons until golden brown, Bake or steam for a healthier version.
