Serves: 4 / Prep time:10 minutes / Cook time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup olive oil
200 grams tenderloin beef, cut into thin strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups water
13/4 cup full cream milk
2 tbs. chicken stock
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
250 grams uncooked bow tie Pasta
½ tsp. pepper powder
½ tsp. Salt
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
DIRECTIONS:
1_ Heat two tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium high heat. Add strips of beef and fry until brown. Take onto a kitchen towel and set aside.
2_In the same pan heat the remaining oil, add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
3_ Stir in water, beef stock, milk, butter and pasta season with salt and pepper, to taste.
4_Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked through, about 18-20 minutes. Stir in Parmesan and fried beef. If the mixture is too thick, add more milk as needed until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
